The politics of the United States of America is certainly picking up momentum as the presidential elections is just a few months ahead; November 3rd.
While the current president of the United States, President Donald Trump has never spared any opportunity to tell the tale of the successes of his administration, he has enjoyed far more antagonism by what he refers to as the “Lame Stream Media”, which he says is the mouth piece of his opposition; The Democratic Party; than most past presidents.
Despite the many battles that Trump has had to deal with during his first and current year in office, he somehow has managed to have it all together; at least so it appears.
His most recent fights have been the attempt by the Democratic Party led House to impeach and remove him from office, a move that he owes the Republican Party led Senate all the appreciation for saving his presidency.
Just after he came out of the impeachment saga, there came Covid19 pandemic and with that seemingly to have had the worst hit on Trump and his administration and presidency, many protests on Racism against the black community started rocking the US, following the murder of Floyd George by former police officer Derek Chauvin.
With all that Trump has gone through, and all that the main stream media says about him and negatively paints him, one would wonder where such number of people registering to attend his rallies are coming from.
The president confirmed via twitter that almost a million people have registered to attend his next rally scheduled to hold on the 20th of June in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Trump’s tweet reads thus;
“Almost One Million people request tickets for the Saturday Night Rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma!”
Just as expected, the announcement of such huge number of persons planning to attend the President’s rally quickly had a political ingredient to it, when Trump made another tweet moments later, accusing the media of trying to covid-shame his supporters when he twitted thus;
“The Far Left Fake News Media, which had no Covid problem with the Rioters & Looters destroying Democrat run cities, is trying to Covid Shame us on our big Rallies. Won’t work!”
It is going to be interesting what US politics would like display to the world this time around, after Donald J Trump gave the world one of its greatest political shocks in 2016 by defeating the more favoured Hillary Clinton in the last presidential election.
