A presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina, on Tuesday, June 16, said Buhari tried several times to settle the disagreement between Obaseki and Oshiomhole.
Speaking during a video interview with a UK-based Nigerian citizen, Ata Ikiddeh, the presidential spokesperson said Buhari for over a year held meetings with parties within the Edo APC crisis separately.
Adesina said the president evaded issuing orders either to Obaseki or Oshiomhole as some way of resolving the crisis.
In another report, following success at the Edo governorship screening committee, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has commended the committee for what he described as an intensive job.
He disclosed this during a statement by his John Mayaki, his campaign organisation, director of communication and media, the state reported.
Going further, he said the exercise shows the character of the APC which is made on fairness, accountability, and transparency.
Still on politics, Victor Oshioke, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) has insisted that the University of Ibadan didn't answer the questions raised by those querying the educational credentials of Obaseki.
