The United States of America as we all know is one of the strongest nations in the world, it controls one of the world's largest market and economy, the United States is good when it comes to technology, medicine and weapons, however, it has its challenges. 

On this day 18th June in 1953, there was a report of a plane crash in the United States around Japan, killing all 129 passengers onboard. The crash at that period was tagged one of the deadliest crash in the aviation sector, and also the second crash notable to kill more than 100 people on board. 


In this crash, most of the victims were air men who were returning to their duty post at South Korea after a 5 days rest and recreational leave Japan, the commander of the aircraft, Major Harvard G Boris Jr. Who was 37 years old Had logged more than 6000 flying hours. 

On board were other experienced aviation pilots, such as Major Robert D Nichocle, and Major Paul E. Kennedy, who was on board to log additional flying time. 

According to reports from the crash accident, the crash happened as a result of improper flap usage and expignose due to the failure of a port engine. 

The 129-person death toll remains the highest toll in the aviation fatality count until 1960 when 134 people died in another crash, since then, there has been series of crashes involving a higher death toll. 

The Americans see's this day as the days in which things start going wrong in the aviation sector, and are trying all withing it reach to avoid other future occurrence.
