1. Breaking: Edo APC Ward Lifts Suspension On Adams Oshiomhole
Executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 10 Estako West local government area of Edo, southern Nigeria, have lifted the suspension order on the National Chairman of the ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole.
Naija News reports that the decision of the Edo APC Ward was announced at a briefing in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital by Hilliard Eta, the APC National Vice Chairman (South-South).
The APC National Vice Chairman (South-South) said the National Secretariat of APC was notified of the decision to lifts the suspension by members and officials from Oshiomhole’s ward.
2. We Have Only 1 COVID-19 Case Left – Jigawa Says, Lifts Interstate Ban
Jigawa State Government has lifted the ban on interstate movement and opened its borders to Bauchi, Kano, Katsina and Yobe, declaring that it has only one COVID-19 case left.

He further noted that the isolation centre at Banuso will be closed temporarily until the state has new cases.
3. FG To Evacuate More Nigerians From The US
The Federal Government (FG) says it has finalized plans and arrangements to evacuate more Nigerians by air from the U.S.

The exercise which is to transport those Nigerians stranded in the U.S due to the COVID-19 is scheduled for July 3 and will be Nigeria’s second special flight mission.
4. Enugu Lawmaker Chijioke Ugwueze Dies After Suffering Heart Attack
Three days after Enugu lost Nsukka Local Government Area Chairman, Chief Patrick Omeje, the lawmaker representing Isi-Uzo Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Honourable Chijioke Ugwueze has died.
Ugwueze, who is hypertensive reportedly died on Friday 19th June after suffering a heart failure. He was said to have woken up with complaints of malaria symptoms.
